Dear all,
Thanks for the huge response given for this video. The day i upload this video i got so many thanks giving comments and most of the comments are regarding errors you faced during installation of hadoop. Here i am trying to solve some of them and also suggest me if i missed some.

To everyone getting errors like command ‘hdfs’ not found.
  • 1 make sure you are using the right user
  • 2 you may not have copied the commands in ~/.bashrc correctly (the video doesn’t show i am doing that(due to recording glitch) but i has spoken about it and mentioned it in the document provided)
  • 3 make sure to check your java version if your system is using 8 or 11 or whatever make sure to mention that java version in .bashrc as well as hadoop-env.sh
  • 4 Run “cd” then “source ~/.bashrc” and then “hdfs namenode -format”
